The creators Luxshan and Mikkel will take us through a visual and provocative journey of agile anti-patterns and misunderstandings, told through their tragi-comic strips.
Hope. Start your recovery from Zombie Scrum - even in the most rigid and traditional organizations.
Scrum promises immense benefits to the way people collaborate and create products together. So how is it possible that a large number of teams and organizations struggle to manifest these benefits? Johannes Schartau decided to investigate this phenomenon. Together with Christiaan Verwijs and Barry Overeem (the Liberators), he uncovered that this lifeless version of Scrum, Zombie Scrum, manifests in distinct ways and due to specific circumstances. In this interactive session, Johannes will shed light on the phenomenon of Zombie Scrum, its symptoms and its causes as outlined in the book “Zombie Scrum Survival Guide”. By joining, you will understand the underlying reasons for Zombie Scrum infections, get inspiration for starting treatment and break the silence by interacting with other people in the session.
About Johannes Schartau:
Johannes is an Agile Coach, international speaker, complexity and integral thinker, Liberating Structures user, and Zombie Scrum fighter. He is also the co-author of the “Zombie Scrum Survival Guide” and Christiaan Verwijs and Barry Overeem. Out now as part of the Professional Scrum Series at Addison-Wesley.

In the last few years, the world of work changed quite a bit, and many Agile community initiatives struggled to stay operational. With iLean’s Agile Kitchen we want to contribute to bringing the community back together in ways that suit our new reality.
In the Agile Kitchen, we want you to be more involved and enlarge the learning potential of yourself and our community!
It’s simple: iLean’s Agile Kitchen is about Agile and people!
Every 6 weeks we gather around one or more Agile topics for intereactive learning sessions and knowledge sharing. We invite speakers from our community (maybe you?), or national and international thought leaders to facilitate these sessions about specific Agile topics. The topics we chose are your topics. We gather them on our Agile Kitchen Miro board and give you the possibility to introduce or support relevant topics.
Let’s get cooking!
